About Nous Vita
Our Mission
Nous Vita exists to make supplement safety checking free, private, and evidence-based. Most tools for evaluating supplements are built to sell products or harvest data. We built Nous Vita to do neither. Our mission is to give everyone access to the same safety information that clinicians use, without requiring an account, collecting personal data, or accepting advertising.
The Problem
Dietary supplement use has grown steadily worldwide. In parallel, polypharmacy, the concurrent use of multiple prescription medications, has become common among older adults across developed countries. When supplements and prescription drugs are taken together, clinically meaningful interactions can occur: a supplement can amplify or blunt a drug's effect, alter its metabolism, or compound its side effects. These interactions are underreported to regulatory agencies and often missed in routine clinical care, in part because patients rarely disclose supplement use to their physicians and because interaction data is scattered across disparate sources. Nous Vita closes that gap by consolidating the evidence into a single, private safety check.
How Nous Vita Works
Nous Vita combines three functions into a single, private workflow. The Regimen Builder suggests evidence graded supplements based on your health goals. The Safety Checker cross references every supplement against your medications using published interaction data and the NIH LiverTox database. The Tracking Dashboard lets you log biomarkers over time and see what actually moves your numbers. All processing happens on your device. No account. No server. No data collection.
Who Built This
Nous Vita was founded by Victor Major BSc, MBA, whose science degree major was pharmacology and biochemistry. He has 17 years of experience leading technology companies including Velocite Bikes and Artidyn Robotics. The project operates as a nonprofit initiative under Helix Engineering LLC, a Wyoming based company developing AI native sensing and decision systems for artificial olfaction, anomaly detection, and autonomous engineering. Nous Vita carries no advertising, no affiliate relationships, and no sponsored content.
How We Are Funded
Nous Vita is currently self funded by its founder. We are pursuing grant funding from public health and research foundations to sustain and expand the knowledge base. We do not and will not sell user data, accept advertising, or take affiliate commissions. If we add any revenue mechanism in the future, we will disclose it transparently on this page before it goes live.
Our Commitment to Privacy
Your health data is the most sensitive information you own. We built Nous Vita so your data stays on your device by default. No account required. No cookies or analytics. No third party trackers. If we ever offer encrypted cloud backup, you will always remain in control of your data and your encryption keys.
Why There Is No Cookie Consent Form
We do not ask for your cookie consent because there are no cookies to consent to. Zero. Nous Vita sets no cookies, maintains no server side session, and runs no analytics or tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, where you are from, whether you have visited once or many times, how you found us, where you are going next, or where you have been. We collect nothing and know nothing about you. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing is collected in the first place.
