Nous Vita is built on the principle that your health data belongs to you. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, what we do not collect, and how the platform works.
What We Do Not Collect
Nous Vita does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. We do not have a server side database of user data. Specifically, we do not collect your name, email address, or contact information; your supplement or medication lists; your biomarker data or health metrics; your IP address or browsing history; or any information that could identify you personally.
Where Your Data Lives
All information you enter into Nous Vita, your supplement regimen, medication list, biomarkers, and goals, is stored exclusively in your browser using local storage. This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to our servers, to third parties, or to any analytics service. When you close your browser and return, your data is still there, on your device. We cannot see it, access it, or recover it if you clear your browser storage.
Cookies and Trackers
Nous Vita does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or third party trackers of any kind. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking technology. We have no advertising partners and no data brokers. The site does not set any persistent cookies. Temporary session cookies may be used by the hosting platform (Netlify) for technical purposes such as load balancing; these are not used for tracking and are deleted when your session ends.
Hosting and Infrastructure
Nous Vita is hosted on Netlify as a static site. Netlify may collect standard server logs (including IP addresses) for operational purposes such as DDoS protection and performance monitoring. These logs are governed by Netlify's privacy policy. Nous Vita does not have access to or control over these infrastructure logs. We have configured the site to minimize logging where possible.
Third Party Services
Nous Vita does not integrate with any third party advertising, analytics, or tracking services. We do not use embedded content from social media platforms, external fonts, or third party CDNs that could track users. All fonts and assets are self hosted or loaded from our own domain.
Future Features and Changes
If Nous Vita introduces any feature that involves data transmission, such as optional encrypted cloud backup or wearable device integration, we will publish a clear explanation before the feature goes live, obtain explicit opt-in consent before any data leaves your device, allow you to delete your data at any time, and update this privacy policy with a dated changelog. Features that require data transmission will always be opt-in. The default state of Nous Vita, no account, no data collection, will remain the baseline experience.
